Internationally experienced medical student at the ‘Magna Græcia’ University of Catanzaro, with a strong background in academic leadership, clinical training, and global health. I have developed practical competencies through research and clinical rotations in Brazil (PUC-PR) and Belgium (KU Leuven), gaining hands-on experience in patient care, surgical settings, and medical research across different healthcare systems. I currently serve as National Coordinator of the Italian Research Exchange (IRE) for SISM – the Italian branch of IFMSA (International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations) – where I oversee the organization of national research placements across leading academic centers. At the local level, I also support international and national exchanges as Local Officer on Research Exchange (LORE) in Catanzaro. My commitment to global health is reflected in my role within the Wolisso Project, a collaboration between SISM and Doctors with Africa CUAMM. As Scientific Coordinator, I’ve led strategic planning and team coordination, while mentoring students as both Local Coordinator and Staff Member for clinical rotations in resource-limited hospitals in Ethiopia, Tanzania, and Angola. I collaborate with Cochrane, Erevnites, and The Global Health Network on medical evidence synthesis and the dissemination of research through systematic reviews and educational resources. I’m also involved with the Italian Society for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (SIIAM), with particular interest in the integration of AI into evidence-based clinical practice. I’m particularly drawn to projects that combine clinical medicine, scientific research, and global collaboration.
